Welcome!
Essex & Suffolk Borders MG Owners Club (0904) was formed in 1974 by local MG enthusiasts and has grown over the years to over 70 members.
We are affiliated to the MG Owners' Club.
We organize a range of events each year, not all motor-orientated, to cater for the varied interests of our members. For more details, please see our current programme.
If you live in the area and own an MG, whether classic or modern, sports or saloon, why not come along to one of our monthly meetings.
Meetings
We meet regularly at The Cricketers, Spring Lane, Eight Ash Green, Colchester. CO3 9TG - Telephone (01206) 240666.

Normally our meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of each month but please check the programme page for variations.
Meetings start at 20.00hrs, but members often gather for a meal beforehand.
​
During summer months our meetings take the form of a road run, organised by one of our members (check the programme page), followed by a get together. In the winter we settle down for quizzes or similar events in the coziness of the bar.
​
The Cricketers offers a varied menu as well as a selection of ales and other beverages.
Membership
​Membership is open to all: most of our members have either a classic or a modern example of the marque.
Annual Membership of the Essex & Suffolk Borders MGOC for 2025 is £20.00 and this is for a single or a couple.
Members are encouraged to organise events and runs should they wish.
